After 23 hours of work, my new media project is finally finished! I had a lot of fun trying out new methods and mediums. It took some long hours, rigorous planning, and extensive shoots, but here are the results!
Scanography
Scanography is a unique form of photography in that it does not require a camera. In preparation I scoured the internet to see what other people have done with the method. After getting an idea of what I wanted to do, I went to a thrift store and gathered props. I then figured out how to work the scanner and went to work. With each photo, I slowly brushed a flower in the background to add a wave effect.

Conceptual Photography
I am in a band called OverEasy, and I have been contemplating how I can make some cool band and album art. I have also admired the work of photoshop artists before me. The first photo reflects the fun and silly nature of the band, as I plastered my friend’s face on an egg. The second photo is a bit more serious, and I hope to use it as an album cover someday.
